Online Qualifiers General Requirements

GENERAL:

- The below Workouts are to be performed during a period between the 1st - 11th of November 2018.
- Scores and videos must be uploaded according to FiCT-instructions through capturefit.co.za
- The Leaderboard will be ranking the athletes according to a 1p system, best score per WOD = 1p.
- Total Ranking Points will determine the Leaderboard, lowest Total = highest ranking.
- Minimum Work Requirements (MVR) will only be in play for Individual Athletes, Athletes can still represent
a team without completing MWR.
- Tiebreakers must be registered when capturing scores, if not indicated the athlete will be given “worst possible tiebreaker”.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:

FiCT recommends all athletes to use our Official Timer - WODProof App.
- Each INDIVIDUAL ATHLETE must submit a video for EACH Qualifier WOD when submitting a score. The leaderboard will not allow you to upload a score without a valid video link. ,
- Each TEAM ATHLETE must be ready to provide a video for any requested WOD at the end of the qualifier within 12h. Failure to present a video at request may result in a disqualification from the leaderboard and thus the team may lose their qualifying spot compete in the Team competition during FiCT 2019.
- Video submissions must be uploaded to a channel that is easily accessible for the FiCT Online Judging
Team. (Youtube/Vimeo/Official FiCT 2019 “Time Keeper App” are approved channels).
- Fittest in Cape Town requires videos to be shot from a specific angle for judging, which will be specified in WOD releases, and any video not adhering to these standards may result in a zero score in that Qualifier WOD.
- In certain FiCT 2019 Online Qualifier WOD’s there may be a requirement to film equipment and distances at the start or end of the WOD, this must be done in a way that is easy to judge by the FiCT Online Judging Team. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and a zero score in that Qualifier WOD.
- ALL VIDEOS MUST BE FILMED IN ONE GO, any cut videos will not be accepted and this includes requirements of above mentioned equipment and distance parameters which must be done in the same uncut video as the WOD itself.

ATHLETES RESPONSIBILITY:

- It is 100% the Athletes Responsibility to familiarise themselves with the required standards for each WOD.
- FiCT 2019 will use “commonly used” movement standards, but we also recommend the athletes to read up on each WOD as there may be specific details to take in consideration.
- It is the Athletes Responsibility to adhere to the video requirements above, videos not fulfilling these standards will not be approved.
- It is the Athletes responsibility to have videos uploaded and scores submitted by the Deadline of November 11, 23:59 South African Time. No submissions will be accepted after this time.
- We recommend athletes to upload their videos way before the deadline as it may take longer than expected depending on internet connection.
- It is the Athletes Responsibility to complete the WOD’s as intended. Any “cheating”, deliberate or unintentional, can result in disqualification not only for the Individual Athlete, but also for the entire Affiliate in case the Athlete is representing one during the FiCT 2019 season.

- 40 Wall Balls, (Women: 14lbs to 9”, Men: 20lbs to 10” - accepteded minimum: 6/9kg to 275/305cm)

- 30 Deadlifts, (Women: 95lbs, Men: 135lbs - accepteded minimum: 43/61kg)
- 10 Burpee Over The Rower
- 20 Hand Stand Push Ups (see specific measurements below)

- 10 Thrusters, (Women: 95lbs, Men: 135lbs - accepteded minimum: 43/61kg)

SCORE: Score is Total Repetitions.
TIEBREAKER: Time after LAST completed set of 10 Burpees

FiCT19 Q3A - 2 Rounds for Time:
- 21 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches (Women: 35lbs, Men: 55lbs - - accepteded minimum: 15/22.5kg)
- 150 Double Unders
- 9 Ring Muscle Ups
[12min CAP]
SCORE: Score is Total Working Time.
TIEBREAKER: Time after LAST completed set of 150 Double Unders will decide the athletes
tiebreaker in case of more than one athlete ending up with the same score for Q-WOD 3A.
FiCT19 Q3B - in whatever time is left on the 14min Timer, For Max Load:
- 1RM Snatch.
SCORE: Score is load in LBS.
TIEBREAKER: There is NO Tiebreaker for this part.
