The 2025 CrossFit Games promises to be bigger and more competitive than ever, with an expanded qualification structure that provides more opportunities for athletes to earn their spot at the ultimate test of fitness.

We are very excited to be included as one of the in-person qualifying events for this year’s CrossFit season. We have a male and female spot to the CrossFit Games on offer at this year’s REBEL Renegade Games. All athletes wishing to qualify for the CrossFit Games through the REBEL Renegade Games will need to finish in the top 1% of the worldwide CrossFit Open.

The REBEL Renegade Games will only be open to athletes from Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf Countries to compete for a spot at the REBEL Renegade Games and ultimately a ticket to the CrossFit Games in 2025.

Qualification For the REBEL Renegade Games

Any athlete who qualifies to compete through either having citizenship or living and training in the selected regions of Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf Countries will need to compete in an online qualifier event between the 10th and 15th of April 2025.

From the online qualifiers, the top 20 male and top 20 female athletes will be invited to compete for a ticket to the CrossFit Games at the REBEL Renegade Games.

The REBEL Renegade Games Affiliate Cup

Finding the Fittest Affiliate in Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf Region

We are very excited to announce that, in conjunction with the CrossFit Games individual qualifying event, we will be running an Affiliate Cup to find the fittest Affiliate in Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf Region.

Any registered Affiliate in Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf Countries will be eligible to enter as many teams as they wish (the Affiliate, one in Africa and one in UAE & Gulf Counties, with the most teams will win a Concept2 RowErg) into the online qualifier event that will take place between the 20th and 25th of March 2025.

The top 40 Affiliates will be selected to compete at the REBEL Renegade Games to fight for the title of Fittest Affiliate.

The REBEL Renegade Games

For athletes in Africa, the UAE, and the Gulf region, the REBEL Renegade Games will serve as the in-person qualifying event. Whether competing, attending live, or tuning in from home via live stream, this event will showcase top-tier competition and embody the relentless spirit of CrossFit.

With more qualifying opportunities, intense competition, and a global community coming together, the 2025 CrossFit Games are set to be an unforgettable journey in the quest to crown the Fittest on Earth.
